Starting My Blog Again#
I’m not sure how often I’ll be able to post here. Still, I’d like to use this blog to document the problems I encounter while developing, how I solve them, things I’ve recently learned, and topics that personally interest me.
Hopefully, some of these posts can be useful to someone else as well.
Most of the posts will probably be about the Android Camera Framework, but I also plan to write about other development-related topics, challenges, and experiences along the way.
Why I Started Blogging Again#
When I was student, I used to run a blog on Velog.
I published my first post on May 18, 2020, and my last one on September 16, 2022.
Fortunately, the blog eventually accumulated around 4M views, and a few of my posts were even featured on the Velog homepage.
It was genuinely rewarding to see that something I had written could be read by others and possibly help them.
After AI became widely available, however, I started asking AI directly whenever I needed information. At the same time, traffic to my blog gradually decreased, and so did my motivation to keep writing.
Over time, though, I realized that there are still things AI cannot fully replace: real experiences from real people.
The thought process behind a decision, the problems someone struggled with, and what they learned from those experiences are often communicated best through personal writing.
That’s why I’ve decided to start blogging again.
